Who are we ?
The Envergure Paragliding School was founded more than 30 years ago in Valloire and Valmeinier. Since 1989, we’ve brought passion and professionalism together to guarantee your safety and pleasure. All year round, we offer you the opportunity to discover paragliding through taster tandem flights. Surrounded by a team of qualified professionals, equipped with modern equipment, you will evolve in a grandiose setting, on exceptional and safe sites.
Envergure Parapente obtained the Label of the French Federation of Free Flight (FFVL) in 2008.
The Fédération Française de Vol Libre (FFVL) is delegated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to oversee hang-gliding, paragliding, kite-flying and kite-surfing. Teaching and the safety of practitioners are part of its primary missions. In this role, the FFVL has set up a quality charter for free flight schools. It commits its signatories to very precise criteria, guaranteeing the qualification of the teachers, the conformity of the equipment and sites, the relevance of the courses and the insurance policies, and finally to ensure that your discovery of and progress in the activity you have chosen are successful.
Who is Loulou Garnier?
Loulou Garnier has been a pilot since 1991, Technical and Pedagogical Director DTE of the Envergure paragliding and speed riding school since 2006 and vice-president of the Ride Air free flight club since 2008. He finished 3rd in the French Paragliding Accuracy Landing Championship in 1991. In 2004, he finished 7th at the Wagas Festival (international Acro/Freestyle paragliding competition) and 5th in 2005 at the same competition. Loulou Garnier was the organiser of the Speed Ride Air from 2008 to 2012 and co-organiser of the Wagas Festival in 2013. A pilot for more than 30 years, Loulou has experienced the evolution of both wings and teaching. An experienced instructor, a ground-breaker of waggas, freestyle and speed riding, he knows how to explain and communicate the sensations of flying in the best possible way.

Who is Laurent Chenevas Paule?
Laurent has been flying for 10 years and is in love with the mountains and long distance flights. He’ll take you up in the sky to share his passion, with joy, simplicity and conviviality. Who is Nicolas Gaspard?
I flew for the first time in tandem with Loulou in Valmeinier in 2007. It was a revelation: I wanted to fly like a bird too! So I first decided to learn speed riding with Envergure in 2009, to combine my love of skiing with this new discipline. Then I started flying on my own in 2011. My passion has grown and I’m now treasurer of the Ride Air Club. In 2020, I validated my DEJEPS free flight paragliding qualification and, with immense pride, joined the Envergure team.
